It distinguishes between fluid service categories — Normal (typical service), Category D (low pressure/temp, non-flammable, non-toxic), Category M (toxic, lethal exposure), Severe Cyclic Conditions, and High-Pressure Fluid Service — with progressively stringent requirements.
