Terms of Use

By using the ISO Xpert ISO 45001 Gap Analysis Tool ("the Tool"), you agree to these Terms.

1. Ownership and Intellectual Property

This Tool is the exclusive intellectual property of ISO Xpert Ltd. All rights reserved.

2. Permitted Use

• Internal, non-commercial gap analysis against ISO 45001:2018.
• Exporting reports for internal OH&S records and certification preparation.
• Sharing reports within your organisation.

3. Disclaimer of Warranties

This Tool is provided "as is" for informational and self-assessment purposes only. ISO Xpert does not warrant that outputs constitute professional health and safety advice. This tool does not substitute for formal Stage 1 or Stage 2 assessment by an accredited certification body. OH&S decisions — particularly those affecting worker safety — must involve qualified health and safety professionals and comply with applicable legal requirements. Gap analysis outputs must not be used as evidence of legal compliance with health and safety legislation.

4. Legal Compliance Notice

ISO 45001 certification does not guarantee compliance with national health and safety legislation (e.g. UK Health and Safety at Work Act 1974, Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations 1999, or equivalent legislation in other jurisdictions). Legal compliance obligations are separate from and additional to ISO 45001 requirements.

5. Relationship with OHSAS 18001

ISO 45001:2018 replaces OHSAS 18001:2007. Organisations previously certified to OHSAS 18001 should review key differences including the enhanced focus on worker participation, context of the organisation, and leadership commitment when using this tool.

6. ISO Standards Reference

References to ISO 45001:2018 are for guidance only. The authoritative version must be obtained from ISO or national standards bodies (e.g. BSI in the UK).

7. Limitation of Liability

ISO Xpert Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages, including workplace injuries or regulatory penalties, arising from use of this Tool.

8. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
