SA8000:2014 is the leading international social accountability and decent-work standard, certifying that companies operate fairly and ethically with respect to workers’ rights. Issued by Social Accountability International (SAI), it is based on the UN Universal Declaration of Human Rights, ILO conventions, and national laws. Used by global brands as a supplier requirement and by manufacturers as a workplace-conditions certification.
