About IATF 16949:2016

IATF 16949:2016 is the global automotive Quality Management System standard. It builds on ISO 9001:2015 with additional sector-specific requirements driven by the major automotive OEMs through the International Automotive Task Force. It is contractually required for the entire automotive supply chain, with customer-specific requirements (CSRs) layered on top of the standard.
